I have a passion for technology and how it can impact and enhance the human experience. I was recruited to Seattle in 2008 and joined Microsoft as part of the scrappy team to build the competitor to Google Apps, which became Office365. I brought only a pillow, my iPhone, and my MacBook. I also helped ship the first version of Azure, won four Gold Star awards, and awarded two patents.
Policy Work & Volunteering
I am passionate about helping people of all different economic backgrounds access computing and receive the benefit of technology. I work with various non-profits to help champion access to information and am active in the policy decisions both locally and internationally. I am also a Disaster Services volunteer and believe in the mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the importance of the Geneva Conventions which they uphold.
